Ed Sheeran cozies up to real-life wife Cherry Seaborn in his new music video for "Put It All on Me." The three-and-a-half-minute clip, which dropped Sunday, features several couples from around the world dancing together--including newlyweds, a couple married nearly 50 years, a same-sex couple whose wedding dance went viral, and a pair of professional ballerinas. Sheeran and Seaborn are the final couple to dance together in the clip when they shimmy side-by-side in their kitchen. "Back in high school, Ed and Cherry were crushing hard," a caption reads. "They made out at the castle on the hill. A few years ago they reconnected. There were fireworks. They married in January 2019." The clip then ends with a funny shoutout to Sheeran's collaborator on the song, Ella Mai--who's single. "The voice you just fell in love with is Ella Mai," another caption reads. "She just swiped right." "Put It All on Me" appears on Sheeran's latest album,No. 6 Collaborations Project, which dropped this past July.
Meanwhile, Sheeran revealed in a podcast interview this past weekend that he recently dropped a whopping 56 pounds (or four stone, as they say in Britain). "My problem was I'd go to the pub, have bangers and mash, a pie, maybe a pudding and then loads of pints. And then not exercise," he explained. "My friends used to call me Two Dinners Teddy. On tour, it's very easy to drink every single day because there's always someone visiting. I had to make a real effort on the tour." He added that he's now running and cycling and that he was motivated to drop the weight thanks to internet trolls. "I never had insecurities and people pointed them out--your brain starts thinking about them," he says. 'It all stems from other people's insecurities. So many people have things they're insecure about so it makes them feel better to point out someone else's."
