In June, country music star Carrie Underwood surprised an elementary school choir ahead of their performance at the Country Music Awards Music Festival, according to People. The singer showed up to watch the Andrew Jackson Elementary School choir's rehearsal. “You guys are going to be so amazing,” Underwood praised the young singers during her surprise visit. “That crowd is not going to know what hit ’em." The singer became acquainted with the Tennessee choir, made up of third- and fourth-graders, when they sang her song "The Champion" in May.
