SAN FRANCISCO – The Fresno State cross country team opened the 2025 season at the USF Invitational, as the women's team recorded a 10th-place finish in the 6k and the men's team placed 13th in the 8k.
Junior Rhiannon Walker led the pack, crossing the finish line at 22:16.5, averaging a 5:58.3 mile, finishing in 35th place overall for the women.
Freshman Hannah Pacheco followed closely behind, landing a 22:21.3 mark in her collegiate cross-country debut, finishing as the 39th-place runner.
Fresno State sophomore Noah Graffigna was the fastest on the course for the Bulldogs with a 25:45.5 finish to put him in 56th place overall.
The Bulldogs' next race is scheduled for September 27 at the UC Riverside Invitational.
