FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State swim and dive's newest Bulldog, Mackenzie Miller Lung, is set to compete in the TYR Summer Championships in Irvine, Calif., beginning Tuesday, August 5th through Friday, August 8th at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
The meet is set in long-course meters in a prelim-final format. The top-24 swimmers will qualify into finals with the championship final competing in the final of the three heats.
Lung entered in all three breaststroke races, opening the week with the 50-meter race on Tuesday, followed by the 200-meter breast on Wednesday and the 100-meter on the final day, Friday.
The newest Bulldog comes to Fresno after three seasons at BYU. In her last season as a Cougar, Lung was the national runner-up in the 200 breaststroke and was also named the 2025 Big-12 Women's Swimmer of the Year.
