BULLDOG BONES

Fresno State finished the regular season with an overall record of 34-18 (15-7 MW).

Head Coach Stacy May-Johnson wraps up the 2025 season with her highest overall and conference win totals since taking over the program in 2022.

Fresno State enters the MW Championship as the No. 3 seed.

The Bulldogs' No. 3 seed marks their highest seed ever in the tournament.

Left-handed pitcher Serayah Neiss was named the 2025 MW Pitcher of the Year and an All-MW First Team selection.

This marked the second consecutive season Fresno State has claimed the league's top pitching honor.

Since joining the conference in 2013, the Bulldogs have taken home the MW Pitcher of the Year award six times, the most of any school in that span.

In addition to Neiss, Kennedy Bunker (Second Team), Natalie Elias (Second Team) and Lauren Almeida (Honorable Mention) were also named all-conference selections.

Fresno State's four All-MW honorees are the most that the program has had since 2021.

The last time these two programs met in the postseason tournament was in 2023, when the lower-seeded Spartans eliminated the Bulldogs with a 1–0 victory.

SJSU's pitching coach Taylor Gilmore was Fresno State's ace last season.
