FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State baseball team is back at home for Mountain West action with a three-game series against conference-leading New Mexico this weekend.
Following the series, The Bulldogs will host a midweek rematch against Saint Mary's on Tuesday at 6:05 p.m. PT.
HOME SWEET HOME
The Fresno State baseball team is back at home this week after spending eight of the last nine games on the road.
Fresno State is 7-6 at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium and has yet to lose a series on its home field in 2025.
Cam Schneider leads the charge for the Bulldogs at home this season, leading the team with a .432 average at The Pete.
Justin Stransky has hit the most home runs at home this season with three.

The Fresno State baseball team claimed its second Mountain West title and first since 2019 in San Diego, Calif. on May 5, 2024.
The win marked the team's 10th conference tournament title overall.
After entering the 2024 tournament with a 6-6 record in Mountain West elimination games, the Bulldogs won four straight this weekend.
Fresno State's pitching staff recorded a tournament-record 67 strikeouts, 18 more than the previous record of 49 set by San Diego State in 2001.
Murf Gray was named tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament Team alongside Jaykob Acosta, Justin Stransky, Noah Beal, Tommy Hopfe and Jake Riding.
KINGS OF THE MOUNTAIN WEST
The Fresno State Baseball team has been selected to finish at the top of the Mountain West standings by the league's eight head coaches.
The Diamond 'Dogs received 43 points in the Preseason Coaches' Poll with six first-place votes.
Fresno State's Murf Gray, Eddie Saldivar, Jack Anker and Victor Arreola were named Preseason All-Mountain West.
The Bulldogs had the most preseason all-conference selections out of the eight institutions.
