and James Corden put a playful spin on and Bradley Cooper's stellar song "Shallow" — but their version sounds even better than you think.
Alicia Keys made her late-night appearance during a guest spot on The Late Late Show , and later joined the show host on the main stage to perform a parodied rendition of the Grammy-nominated track from 2018's A Star Is Born .
And since the decorated musician was announced as the master of ceremonies for the 2019 Grammy Awards last month, Corden — who has hosted the function twice — thought it only appropriate to use the occasion to offer the first-time host some helpful (and hilarious) tips.
As the R&B singer-songwriter took her rightful place at the piano, the 40-year-old opened their duet crooning, "Tell me something, Keys, I hear you’re set to host this year’s Grammys." She replied, "Didn’t you host it twice? Maybe you could give me some advice."
And boy did he!
