Over the weekend, video of a human-looking robot walking down a driveway went viral, prompting Derren Brown to tweet, "We are all going to die." But Gizmodo did some digging and found out the "robot" doesn't actually exist. "Adam" was created by Maxim Sullivan, who used video-game and animation tools to design the virtual character, who previously appeared in a web series and an eponymous short film. So rest easy, folks: Robots aren't taking over the planet--yet.
