Wendy Williams' Family Is Working on Her Sobriety Amid Claims Hubby Cheated

The Daily Mail claims that Wendy Williams' recent addiction issues all stem from her husband's cheating ways. The outlet says 54-year-old Kevin Hunter has been carrying on a 10-year affair with a 33-year-old massage therapist named Sharina Hudson. The outlet adds that the 47-year-old Williams hired a private eye to spy on Hunter late last year and hurt her shoulder while confronting him about his cheating--which led to her problems with pills. Meanwhile, Hudson has reportedly issued Hunter several ultimatums to leave Williams, even though he's also an executive producer on her show. "Kevin is in love with Sharina, but he can't leave his wife because he and Sharina can't take care of themselves," says a source. "They need her money."

Meanwhile, Hunter has opened up to ET about how the family is coping with Williams' recent move to a sober house. “Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves," says Hunter, who's been married to Williams since 1997. "It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this a family process...and we are dealing with it and moving forward." On Tuesday, Williams revealed on her talk show that she's in a residential treatment center for her addiction issues. "We talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them," she said. "Doors locked by 10:00 p.m., lights out by 10:00 p.m. So I go to my room and stare at the ceiling and fall asleep to come here and see you. So that is my truth."
