We had such a wonderful weekend! We headed to the beach for the weekend and stayed between Pismo and Avila beaches. We stayed at the Spyglass inn and what a hotel! I was really impressed with their rooms, view, grounds, and service! We rolled into town and made our first stop the Cracked Crab! Yummo! We ordered the bucket that came with 2 different kinds of seafood. We picked the dungeness crab and the Bairdi crab....they were both delicious! However, dungeness is still my all time fave! After a long lunch it was about 2pm and even though check in wasn't until 4, they had our room ready! So we got in, got changed and headed out for a walk around the hotel. It was gorgeous and the room was beautiful too! We sat down and enjoyed the fire pits, made smores and watched the sun set. It was beautiful! Enjoyed sleeping with the door open and the sound of the waves....ahhhh! The next morning we were up and enjoyed breakfast at Penny's All American Cafe! Delicious pancakes btw! After breakfast we headed to Avila and hung out for a while, flew the drone, took some photos and watched the dogs playing their hearts out! We made it back to Fresno by 3pm and are so happy we took the weekend to get away! :)
