Fruit Roll-Ups is speaking out on a viral trend of people claiming to eat the snack straight out of the freezer without taking off the plastic wrapper.

To debunk this, Fruit Roll-Ups did a TikTok stitch with user HollyBerry09 (see below).

And to make SURE you get the message, the caption was “legal is making me clarify that you should not attempt to eat plastic.”

The TikToker who initially spread the “no plastic” myth, @KitchenTool, admitted to intentionally misleading viewers.
