Police arrested 56-year-old Florida resident Michael Dale Hudson last Thursday, after he drove his golf cart recklessly through the store and ignored orders to stop, the Tampa Bay Times reports. Hudson had apparently arrived at the Gibsonton, Florida, Walmart determined to speak to a manager, and was blocking the entrance to the liquor store entrance when officers attempted to speak to him. At that point Hudson took off on his wild ride, nearly striking several shoppers before finally crashing into a cash register where he was arrested. A few shoppers suffered minor injuries, although none needed to go to the hospital. Hudson was hospitalized for an undisclosed injury, and will soon be booked on multiple counts of aggravated battery/aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and charges of trespassing after warning, resisting arrest without violence and felony criminal mischief, police said.
