Taylor Swift debuted a new single Tuesday called “The Archer,” just hours after iTunes prematurely published the song's title. According to Pitchfork, the track arrived in the middle of Swift’s planned Instagram Live session, in which she said that it’s the fifth track on Lover. She also explained her tradition of putting the most “honest, emotional, vulnerable, and personal” songs in that slot because fans started to notice a pattern on her earlier albums, saying, “That has definitely happened in the case of this album, Lover.” Following the song title leak, Jack Antonoff--who's collaborated with Swift before--tweeted a bow-and-arrow emoji, suggesting he's once again teamed up with Swift on the the track. Later in the live session, Swift also announced thatLoverwill arrive with four deluxe editions, featuring scans of her real life journals. Lover is out August 23.
