Cat Lost By California Family Due To Mudslides Is Found After A Year

A California family that was forced to evacuate their home during a 2017 mudslide has been reunited with one of the beloved cats they had to leave behind. According to UPI, Noelle Stogoff mentioned her family's two missing cats--whom the family wasn't able to find on the day they evacuated--to a contractor who was working on their house in Montecito. He then mentioned that he'd been feeding a stray cat nearby and took Stogoff to meet the homeless feline--which turned out to their cat Diamond, who had been missing for 475 days. The Stogoffs are holding out hope that their other cat, Huguette, will also be found.
