Queen + Adam Lambert opened the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday night with a lively performance that had A-listers in the crowd on their feet. Lambert joined original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor for a medley of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions,” that ended with footage of late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury on a screen behind the band. During the performance, cameras caught the likes of Javier Bardem, Lady Gaga and Mike Myers rocking out. Later, Gaga and herA Star Is Bornco-star Bradley Cooper gave an emotional performance of “Shallow,” which later won Best Original Song. During the intimate performance, Cooper initially sat on a stool opposite of Gaga, but later joined her on the piano bench.
