Clay Warner, a high school basketball player, got into his first game last Friday and the crowd went nuts are he sank his very first shot.
The 18-year-old senior at North Polk High School in Iowa got to play in the final minute of senior night. His coaches have kept him on the bench for rest of the season for his own safety - Clay is legally blind.
Get this! Clay caught a pass and launched a jumpshot from the corner and nailed it. All of the students in the gym and players on both teams erupted and cheered. Clay had this to say about his experience, "This whole gym was yelling my name. Everything, both benches were jumping. The whole crowd was going crazy. It was like I was a little kid again.”
