Some people who suffer from depression swear by Prozac or another medication, but 65-year-old Joie Henney relies on his emotional support alligator instead. According to the Associated Press, Henney has a registered emotional support animal named Wally, who is a five-foot-long gator. The Pennsylvania man didn't want to go on medication for his depression, so he received approval from his doctor to use his gator instead. "I had Wally, and when I came home and was around him, it was all OK," Henry said. "My doctor knew about Wally and figured it works, so why not?" Wally likes to snuggle and give hugs.
