Kid Rock followed the lead of Tyler Perry over the weekend by paying off the layaways at a Walmart location in Nashville. According to The Tennessean, Rock gave the store--located at 3458 Dickerson Pike--roughly $81,000 to settle all the accounts. "Kudos to Kid Rock for making such a gesture in our community," store manager Tom Meyer tells the outlet. "I think that's a pretty Nashville-proud moment." The country rocker made his donation on Friday, a day after Perry posted a video on Twitter saying he had paid off the layaway balances at two Georgia Walmarts. "@tylerperry Great idea! I followed your lead and paid off the layaway at my local Walmart in Nashville,” Rock tweeted. “Merry Christmas and God Bless You!"
