Roseanne has tweeted her thanks to John Goodman after her Roseanne co-star defended her in a recent interview by insisting she's not racist. "I thank John Goodman for speaking truth about me, despite facing certain peril from producers and network," the 65-year-old Barr wrote Monday on Twitter. Goodman had told UK's The Times this past weekend, "I know, I know, for a fact that she’s not a racist." He went on to say he was disappointed when the Roseanne reboot was axed due to Barr's behavior. "I was brokenhearted, but I thought, ‘OK, it’s just show business, I’m going to let it go,'" he notes. "But I went through a period, about a month, where I was very depressed." Here's more from US Weekly.
