Sara Gilbert Breaks Her Silence And Speaks About Roseanne Being Fired

On Monday's episode of The Talk, Sara Gilbert addressed ABC's decision to cancel Roseanne after its star Roseanne Barr compared former President Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett to an ape on Twitter. "This has been a very difficult week. A lot of people have been hurt by this," she admitted. "I will say I'm proud of the show we made. She added, "However, I do stand behind the decision that ABC has made." Gilbert did not elaborate on whether she's spoken to Barr since denouncing her co-star's "abhorrent" comments on social media last week. She also did not touch on rumors that her character Darlene will be getting her own spinoff.   Here's more from Daily
