Carrie Underwood holds no emotion back on her new single, "Cry Pretty." The four-minute track--which dropped Wednesday at 6 a.m. ET along with a lyric video on YouTube--finds the country superstar "unleash[ing] a pent-up wave of emotions," writes Billboard. "[It] is a raw, rousing ballad about how sometimes letting it all out is what your heart needs." Underwood first teased the new song on Sunday when she wrote on social media, "This Wednesday, April 11. 6 a.m. ET," alongside an image of one of her eyes decked out with "crying glitter" makeup. Underwood will also perform "Cry Pretty" live at this Sunday's ACM Awards. Here's more from Billboard.
