Pierce Brosnan is down for a female 007 after rumors circulated this summer that black actress Lashana Lynch may take over the role. “Yes!" the 66-year-old Brosnan told The Hollywood Reporter this past weekend about having a female Bond. "I think we've watched the guys do it for the last 40 years. Get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting." However, the former Bond actor added it would also be unlikely so long as producer Barbara Broccoli continues to helm the franchise. “I don't think that's going to happen with the Broccolis. I don't think that is going to happen under their watch," he said. Meanwhile, the next 007 flick--No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig--arrives in April 2020.
