Vampire Weekend Covers "Parks & Rec" Theme Song At Indiana Show

Vampire Weekend paid props to the Hoosier State while performing in Indianapolis this past weekend by covering the theme song to Parks and Recreation. As Pastenotes, not only was the beloved NBC sitcom set in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana; it also starred Rashida Jones, who's now the real-life romantic partner and baby mama of Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig. The band's live rendition of the theme came smack in the middle of a performance of their song "M79" off their 2008 self-titled debut album.
