CBS announced Friday that it has axed its Murphy Brown reboot after just one season. The news came amid a slew of sitcom cancellations at the Tiffany Network, including Fam (starring Gary Cole and Nina Dobrev) and HappyTogether (starring Damon Wayans Jr.), which likewise only lasted one season apiece. CBS also shut down Life in Pieces, starring Coiln Hanks and Thomas Sadoski, after four seasons. Sitcoms that managed to stay alive until next season at the network include Young Sheldon, Mom, The Neighborhood, and Man With a Plan.
