"Jeopardy!" Champ Could Have A Future In Major League Baseball

Once Jeopardy! champion James Holzhauer finishes his historic run on the game show, he could end up getting a job in Major League Baseball. As The Washington Post reports, Holzhauer has already won more than $1.5 million with 22 wins, making him the second-longest-running champion ever on the show. But what the longtime Chicago Cubs fan always dreamed of was becoming a manager of a baseball team. The same skill set he uses to win on Jeopardy! could actually get him into the MLB front offices. Holzhauer told MLB Network on Tuesday, "I thought, I'm going to build this from the ground up. What do I need to do to win at Jeopardy!?" Just like the math whiz does in his career as a professional gambler, Holzhauer uses analytics. His method is strikingly similar to that of famed Moneyball  hero Billy Beane of the Oakland Athletics. "My first thought when I saw him," said Beane, "was: We have to get this guy in baseball."
