Madonna has released "I Rise," the second song from her forthcoming album Madame X. The trip-hop-inspired song was written "as a way of giving a voice to all marginalized people who feel they don’t have the opportunity to speak their mind," the pop icon said in a statement. "This year is the 50th anniversary of Pride and I hope this song encourages all individuals to be who they are, to speak their minds and to love themselves.” Notably, "I Rise" starts with an audio sample from Emma González, who became the face of the gun control movement after surviving the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Madame X is in stores on June 14.
