The incredible Jeopardy! winning streak of Vegas pro sports bettor James Holzhauer continued apace on Tuesday. In fact, he became the second contestant ever to break $1 million in earnings--and reached that total quicker than the other brainiac to reach that milestone, Ken Jennings--after winning a whopping $118,816 in his latest victory. He earned that total after wagering $50,000 and then correctly guessing that Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant were the correct responses for this statement: "On May 1, 1869, these men met at the White House, four years and three weeks after a more historic meeting between them." Holzhauer has now won 14 games in a row, and has amassed $1,061,554.The Guardian notes that at that pace, Holzhauer is raking in more than twice as much per episode as Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek.
