Man Makes Surfboard Out Of 700 Dunkin Donuts Cups

Forget about running on Dunkin, a New Hampshire man is now surfing on Dunkin Donuts. Or at least on the cups. AsThe Portsmouth Herald reports, 32-year-old Korey Nolan built a surfboard out of 700 used Dunkin Donuts cupsand entered it in surf brand Vissla's Creators & Innovators Upcycle Contest. He won second place in 2018 and took his inaugural ride back in September, but went viral after a recent interview withThe Boston Globe. "It rides really great," he says. "And it's made from what would otherwise be sitting forever in a landfill." Now, Nolan is using his notoriety to teach people about environmental issues caused by the expanded polystyrene (EPS) cups. This week he'll be talking to students on the "green team" at North Hampton School in New Hampshire.
