James Bond fans should definitely be "shaken and stirred" by the news that famed 007 producer Barbara Broccoli is reportedly ready to give fans their first black Bond in the form of British hottie Idris Elba. Director Antoine Fuqua tells The Daily Star he recently chatted with Broccoli about who might take on the iconic spy character after Daniel Craig retires from the role. He says Broccoli replied that "it's time" for a black Bond and that the casting first "will happen eventually." Adds Fuqua, "Idris could do it if he was in shape. You need a guy with physically strong presence. Idris has that." Craig is believed to be playing Bond one last time in a 2019 movie tentatively titled James Bond 25. It goes into production in December with director Danny Boyle at the helm. Here's more from Esquire.
