An Indiana family is grateful for their pet pig, Dumplin, more than usual this week: The animal apparently scared off burglars who had broken into the family’s home with the intention of robbing it. "The officers were guessing when the person broke in they were probably surprised I had a pig and were like, 'We don't want to deal with this,'" the anonymous homeowner, who said she adopted Dumplin from a rescue earlier in the year, told FOX affiliate WXIN. "The cop was like, we definitely think they got in and made it to where Dumplin was and thought, 'Nope. We don't want no part of this.'" Nothing was taken from the home.
