Adele Sings With Survivors Of Grenfell Towers Fire

Adele marked the one year anniversary of the deadly fire in London’s Grenfell Tower housing complex by spending time with survivors on Thursday. As seen in footage shared by ITV, the Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer stood among grieving families to sing Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" alongside them. Grime rapper Stormy was also spotted in the crowd, which gathered near the original site. The massive fire ripped through the 24-story apartment tower on June 14, 2017, where it burned up to 1,800 degrees. Of the 293 residents in the building, 72 were killed and 70 others were injured.  Here's more from Billboard.
