Brooklyn Nine-Nine Got Picked Up By NBC After Being Canceled From FOX

Talk about having "nine-nine" lives! Canceled FOX sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine will live on for a sixth season after NBC announced Friday it had picked up the critically acclaimed series. "Ever since we sold this show to FOX, I’ve regretted letting it get away and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home," said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt in a statement. "We’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy lineup. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!” The sixth season will consist of 13 episodes and is expected to debut sometime next spring.  Here's more from Variety.
