On Monday night’s episode of American Idol, the Top 24 contestants were revealed. Following a grueling Hollywood Week, favorites including Trevor Holmes (Katy Perry’s crush) and Thaddeus Johnson were among the artists who didn’t make the cut. Despite a shaky cover of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” quirky redhead Catie Turner advanced to the next round. Drag queen Ada Vox also moved forward, thanks to a powerful version of “Creep” by Radiohead. And 16-year-old Mara Justine was named the youngest person in the Top 24 after delivering a larger-than-life performance of “Something's Got a Hold on Me” by Etta James. Read more here.
