Mom Sets World Record At Modesto Marathon While Pushing Triplets

Ann Marie Cody of Sunnyvale, California, has set a new Guinness World Record for running the fastest marathon run by a female while pushing a triplets' stroller. UPI reports that Cody bested the previous record by nearly 20 minutes when she completed the Modesto Marathon in four hours, six minutes and 33 seconds--all while pushing her triplets side-by-side-by-side in a giant stroller. Cody previously set the Guinness record for "fastest half-marathon pushing a triple pram (female)" at the Fresno Half Marathon with a time of 1 hour, 47 minutes and 59 seconds. "There are very few marathons that will allow triple strollers," says Cody. "Exposing my two sons and daughter to their community and outdoor activities is a bonus, though after a few miles, it's nap time."  Check out the video and story here.
