Ashton Kutcher Tweeted Out His Phone Number

When you’re a celebrity, you don’t get to be around real people that much. Ashton Kutcher  wants to change that. He decided to give out his phone number to his Twitter followers.

The now deleted tweet read:

“I miss having a real connection w/real people. From now on you can just text me. I won’t be able to respond to everyone but at least we can be real w/each other & I can share the unedited latest & greatest in my world. +1 (319) 519-0576 Yes this is my#

When fans texted, they got a computer-generated message that told them all future messages would be from Ashton himself.

Apparently he was bombarded with messages. Kutcher deleted the tweet, but soon posted another one.

Reporters checked and the phone number goes to a start up messaging service called Community. Community's privacy policy says it allow subscribers to send messages to fans and followers and fans to do the same, but no messages are “private,” but fair game for advertising use.
