Watch The Empire State Building's Shawn Mendes Music-To-Light Show

Monday, May 13th, we partnered with the Empire State Building to light up New York City with a music-to-light show featuring Shawn Mendes in celebration of the Robin Hood Foundation (NYC's largest poverty-fighting organization) and it's benefit.

The two-time Grammy nominated singer gave an incredible performance of his latest single "If I Can't Have You" at the benefit. The performance was perfectly timed to a light show atop the Empire State Building, designed by world-renowned lighting designer: Marc Brickman while also being played by our radio station Z100 New York.

In a press release for the event, Chairman and CEO of Empire State Realty Trust, Anthony E. Malkin said, "Since 2008, the Empire State Building has been a beacon of support for Robin Hood and its daily efforts to combat poverty in our city. This year, in partnership with iHeartMedia and Shawn Mendes, we will amplify Robin Hood's impact visually and across the airwaves as we shine a light on its mission in New York City and around the world."

Tonight the city lit up in support of of the Robin Hood's impact and mission of helping people move "sustainably out of poverty," and it was truly magnificent. Mendes really has taken over the city. As John Sykes, our President, Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia said, "Shawn Mendes will become an honorary New Yorker." He truly did.

Thank you Shawn Mendes, Empire State Building and Robin Hood Foundation for making tonight a night filled with music, light and doing good.
