Beyonce’s custom-made sneakers are made from ostrich, crocodile, anaconda, stingray skins
The general public will have to shell out $5,500 for a pair of Beyonce's Isabel Marant heeled sneakers, custom-made by PMK. The superstar commissioned the footwear brand to make the PETA-averse kicks, which are white with velcro and called 'King Bey.'
Calf hair, ostrich, crocodile, anaconda and stingray skins make up Beyonce’s new custom-made kicks from footwear brand PMK.
Several animal skins were used to make the ‘King Bey’ sneaker.
“[The sneakers] come with a high price,” PETA said in a statement. “And it’s paid by the various animals who were beaten and skinned alive or cruelly farmed and killed.”
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up with hippie parents that sold my brother and sister to Gypsies and we lived in a VW Van... okay that might be a stretch, but I did grow up in Portland. My husband Craig and I love to play in the ocean, throw snowballs, kick up the dirt in the mountains, have fun with friends and find new places to eat. We love to travel and challenge ourselves to new experiences and being with family. We have a furry child (cat) named Mo'ana and she is a spoiled princess. Spend your workday with me... I promise I will help make it go by faster with all of your favorite music!
